DAY 1: WELCOME TO ICELAND

On arrival at Keflavik Airport, you will be greeted by a driver who will take you to your accommodation in Reykjavík. The rest of your day is free for exploring Reykjavik , taken an scenic stroll around the old harbour or visits to museums and city landmarks. The downtown offers a range of excellent restaurants, cosy cafés and lively bars and clubs for those who want to experience the renowned Reykjavík nightlife.

DAY 2: REYKJAVÍK CITY WALK & NORTHERN LIGHTS

Enjoy a guided small group walking tour in the heart of Reykjavik . Over the course of the 2-hour walk, your knowledgeable guide will introduce you to the landmarks and highlights of the downtown area while pointing out great restaurants, charming cafés and interesting activities available in Iceland’s charismatic capital city.
Later in the evening, if weather conditions allow, you will be taken for a tour in search of the magnificent northern lights, also known as aurora borealis.*

DAY 3: GO AROUND THE GOLDEN CIRCLE

Visit some of Iceland’s most famous attractions with a guided bus tour around the classic “Golden Circle” route in South Iceland. One of the major highlights on this journey is Þingvellir National Park, a place of great historical and geological signifiance that is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other attractions include the beautiful two-tiered Gullfoss waterfall and spouting hot springs such as Geysir and Strokkur. On return to Reykjavik, you will also see the Skálholt church, the ancient seat of the Icelandic bishops, and Hveragerði, a small village will numerous geothermal-heated greenhouses.

DAY 4: GRAND WATERFALLS AND BLACK BEACHES

Enjoy a tour along the beautiful southern coast of Iceland all the way to the village of Vík and back. We start with the picturesque Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Seljalandsfoss is 40 meters high and its main attraction, besides the scenery, is the fact that there is a pathway leading behind the waterfall and out the other side, giving visitors a chance to view the falls from within. The tour will also take you to the black volcanic sand beach south of Vík, Iceland’s southernmost village, to view the spectacular rock formations Dyrhólaey and Reynisdrangar. The last stop before heading back to Reykjavik is the graceful, 60 meters high Skógafoss waterfall.

DAY 5: DAY AT LEISURE

Today is a free day. Go on an optional excursion or simply enjoy the city as you wish. Downtown you will find a variety of interesting shops, design boutiques, museums and galleries, and the city offers many great thermal swimming pools and spas for those who crave extra relaxation. Today would also be ideal to try out a guided horseback ride or go on a whale watching tour from the city's old harbour.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE WITH A TWIST

Today we transfer you back to Airport for your onward Journey or for your flight back home.
Please be advised that daylight is limited in Iceland during the winter months, with about 4-5 hours of daylight during the holidays, from December to January. Winter in Iceland is considered to be from October to April.
